The Kingdom of Isles lived mostly at peace with the occasional raid from its neighbor to the south. One day a young boy discovered a strange ship beached upon its western shore, and that signaled the beginning of the invasion. A nation from another world had opened a rift to the Kingdom of Isles and, desirous of the rich metals available in the kingdom, quickly invaded. Thus began the Riftwar. Based on the series by Raymond E. Fiest.
