QUEST:Shawl of the Wise and Ashen Belt quest

Directions to start of quest:

    As a Psionic, when you use the GATE command there is a good chance that you will at some stage arrive at the Entrance to the Underworld. You will be greeted and need to say "let me in!" to be granted entrance to the area.
    Alternatively, from Chakkor Fountain, go out the North Gate (4w n w 4n 3e n), then north twice to the crossroads, and travel north. When you stop to pick directions, you may need to go invis (depending on your class - Monks don't need to). Go east and you'll be at the gate. You will be greeted and need to say "let me in!" to be granted entrance to the area.
    From the Looking Room take the following directions to arrive at the Fountain (where the shops are located). Go e, e, s, e. Purchase a loaf of bread from the General Store and return to the fountain.

Walkthru:

Take the loaf of bread to the Ashen Hermit by going w, w, s, w, w, d, d, d, s, s, s, s, e, e. When you enter the same room as the hermit, he will begin his plea for food.
	

the ashen hermit says 'Hello traveller, can you give me some food ?'
The ashen hermit sighs loudly.
the ashen hermit says 'OHHH... Gods... I'm hungry....'
The ashen hermit bursts into tears.

Give him the loaf of bread and he will give you the Ashen Belt. You can only carry one ashen belt at a time unless you use the patented carry trick method.

You need to kill the Pirate to get the talisman. Go w, w, n, n, n, n, u, u. The pirate is in one of the adjacent rooms from this level. Kill him and return to the Ashen Hermit. From the centre room in the cave go d, d, s, s, s, s, e, e.

Now give the ashen hermit the Hermit's Talisman.

You give a hermit's talisman to the ashen hermit.

The ashen hermit smiles at you.
the ashen hermit says 'thank you traveler.'

Simple as that. Remember that the Ashen Belt and the Shawl of the Wise are both cursed items.
