    • You will need detects;
    • Start quest with good alignment +1000;
    • You will need to change alignment from -1000 to +1000 and vise versa few times;
The quest for Vishnu is pretty hard and might take a long time, depending if
you manage to find certain hints that are hidden somewhere. The equipment you
will receive as a prize has been created only for people with good alignment,
thus going under align 350 would result in the complete loss of it. It has been
built for spellcasters in general.

many adventures are narrated in the many volumes of his history. This part
explains the teologic part. Vishnu is the creator of space and time, (since

in his superior powers, thinking that the god in his immensity embraces every
part of the universe.

  • When you go DOWN to the catacombs it is a maze agro monsters who raise your aligment
  • Keep in mind that questor has to be evil when practicing yoga
  • After passing the barrels the path is: d,3 n,w,n
  • rest, wear black tunic, yoga (you need to be -1000 alignment and have less than 1 million gold for this to work. Also be sure to put the white tunic in a backpack or the yoga may not work.)

  • Go back to Shiva and kill him (need bigger group 4-5 at least)
  • When Shiva dies you have also to kill his hands
  • Be sure to have your group in the meditation room. They will enter with you when you do yoga and they can be any alignment. Immediately upon entering the room, Shiva attacks the questor, and each of his two hands randomly attacks another character. Questor does not need killing blow.
  • 3 invis items are dropped, get them and get back to Vishnu

Vishnu tells you 'As you killed Shiva you also will have to kill me in order'

  • Now you can come with group, when meditating the whole group will get transported to Vishnu. Questor does not need to get killing blow on Vishnu. Vishnu also casts some powerful acid blasts (200-400 damage each with sanctuary) so it's a good idea to tank with an anti-magic shelled necromancer.

  • NOTE: Sometimes he forces you to flee, so watch out;
  • To avoid fleeing, set an alias for flee like 'alias flee drool'; (nope, this doesnt work, see discussion page)
  • When he dies the vishnu's prize is dropped;
  • Look at prize and go to The Minister;

Many are the mantras written on this book, and they all are indicated to be
useful to manipulate the rewards Vishnu gives to His Ministers. Words are:
'ratumara', 'doscu', 'lanoel', 'telnomal', 'vitoste', 'loclera','raccalebi',
'micanhe', 'balimga', 'gatuni', 'ratunci', 'carabile', 'valitsi', 'melo'.
The Mantras have all been written in a mirrored way, so that by each of them,
there is the opposite of the same word. Maybe you can figure out what this means.

*note: be sure not to have the divining rod from the Hardened Mercury quest in your inventory as it has the same activation command.  Just put it in a backpack and you will be fine.

  • NOTE: every command typed in backwards will destroy the item; (you will need to return to the Room of Creation to do this which you can do at any time by going back to the minister and saying activation.)
  • NOTE: items will randomly be destroyed if you change your alignment!
  • NOTE: items can't be placed into containers, dropped or removed!
