You character's race effects several areas of the game

1) Your race's language is ALWAYS selected when the character is created.
2) EMOTEs are only visible to those that understand your race's language.
3) Players may use the CHAT command to talk to others of the same race.
4) Your race will initially modify your stats are.
5) Some combinations of race and class are not allowed.
6) Your race will help determine your maximum attributes.
7) Your race will help determine your vision characteristics.
8) Movement usage is modified by your race.
9) Different races have different maximum rates of speed.
