Walkthrough
Directions to start of quest:
1. From Griffon, find Ned (s, 3w, 2n, e, n, w, n)
Ned, a fellow inmate, stands chained against the wall here.
Ned says 'You shouldn't be here.'
2. You say 'what are you in for?'
Ned says 'I tried to date the mayor's secretary. The mayor was furious.'
Ned says 'He's secretly been in love with her for years. You should ask'
Ned says 'her the question: What can you tell me about relationships?'
3. Speak with Ellen (s, e, s, e, e, n, e)
The mayor's secretary sits at her desk here.
4. You say 'what can you tell me about relationships?'
Ellen says 'I've never really been in a good relationship. The only man I'
Ellen says 'find attractive in this city is the mayor, but he doesn't seem'
Ellen says 'to have the courage to ask me out.'
Ellen gets a note from her purse.
Ellen says 'I have an idea. How about you give him this note for me.'
Ellen gives you a note from the secretary.
Ellen says 'I've had that note for years. Please don't fail me.'
5. Go to Mayor Fle (w, n)
6. Give note Fle
You give a note from the secretary to Fle.
Fle reads the note.
Fle says 'At last! She DOES love me!'
Fle says 'Give her this ring.'
Fle gives you a diamond wedding ring.
Fle says 'After you give it to her, return to me and tell me what she said.'
7. Return to Ellen and give her the key (s, e)
8. Give diamond Ellen
You give a diamond wedding ring to Ellen.
Ellen says 'You gave him my note!'
Ellen hugs you tightly.
Ellen says 'You can tell the mayor: She said yes.'
9. Return to Mayor Fle (w, n)
10. You say 'she said yes.'
Fle says 'Excellent!'
Fle says 'I have an errand for you then.'
Fle says 'Tell the baker: The mayor is getting married and needs a cake.'
11. Go to Cro the baker (s, s, e, e, s, s, w, n)

Cro says 'Of course he needs a cake. I knew he'd get married someday.'
Cro says 'Now go tell the magician: The mayor needs candles for his wedding.'
13. Go to Word the Magician (s, 3w, n)

15. Go to Frawd the Bartender (s, 3e, s)

Frawd says 'A wedding? Splendid.'
Frawd says 'I just love weddings. All the people, all the food, all the wine.'
Frawd winks suggestively.

17. Go to Ergo the armorer (n, 3w, s)

19. Return to the mayor ( n, 4e, 2n, 2w, 2n)

20. You say 'everything will be ready.'
Fle says 'Great! One last thing though.'
Fle says 'Tell a priest: The mayor is getting married.'
Fle says 'If any guards try to stop you, say: I'm on a mission for the mayor.'
21. Go to the Priest (2s, 2e, 2s, 2e, 5s, e, n)
A priest of this magnificent city kneels here, praying.

A Priest says 'Splendid. Tell that to Ratyk.'
23. Go to Ratyk (e, n 2w)

Ratyk shouts 'The mayor is getting married.'

25. Return to the mayor (3n, 2w, 2n, 2w, 2n)
26. You say 'everything is set for the wedding.'
Fle says 'You have done a wonderful job.'
Fle says 'From now on, the gates of the city are open to you.'
Fle says 'May your journeys be fruitful till the end of your days.'
Fle pauses for a second.
Fle says 'I do have one last thing for you.'
Fle rummages behind his desk for a second.
Fle gives you a brown rucksack.
The quest is complete. Inside the rucksack are:

From now on the Gates of the City will be opened for you by the Guards, and they will no longer be aggro towards you.
