Directions to start of quest:

    * Go to Valdemar
    * Start from the Fountain in Valdemar. Go 3u

Walkthru:

   1. Say 'Herald'
      You say 'herald'
      The Queen says 'Well a Herald is not easy to be. Only companions select'
      The Queen says 'heralds. It is not up to me, and companions select only '
      The Queen says 'people with a good heart. Go to the companions field and '
      The Queen says 'see if a companion is prepared to select you, Monkzy.'
   2. Go acquire a companion. (d 2w 2n). Wait until a companion shows up.
      Herald Talia says 'It's no disrespect to dream of becoming a herald - though'
      Herald Talia says 'its not like the tales. It is work that is both dull and'
      Herald Talia says 'dangerous. It is a life where you find you have very '
      Herald Talia says 'little time for yourself. A herald has to always '
      Herald Talia says 'consider his or her duty above all else, even his or her '
      Herald Talia says 'well-being.'
      Herald Talia says 'You know that only the good at heart can become a herald
      Monkzy.'

      A companion canters up to the railing and looks at you.
      The companion nuzzles you.
      You ride the companion around the field.
      Herald Talia says 'Looks like Monkzy is going to become a herald.'
      Herald Talia smiles at you.
      Herald Talia says 'I suggest you go tell the queen, Monkzy.'
   3. Return to Queen (2s 2e u)
      The Queen says 'Ahhh good, a companion selected you to become a herald.'
      The Queen says 'Go see Dean Elcarth about your training, Monkzy.'
   4. Return to Dean (d w)
      Dean Elcarth says 'Regrettably Monkzy, a Heralds life is often in threat.'
      Dean Elcarth says 'For this reason we need to teach you self defence.'
      Dean Elcarth says 'Alberich, our weapons master will train you.'
   5. Go to Alberich (w n 2w)
      Alberich says 'Come let us train you in the art of defense.'
      Alberich says 'So, you are to be a Herald, Monkzy.'
      Alberich says 'You will need to be able to defend yourself.'
      Alberich shows you some smart moves.
      Alberich says 'Ok lets test what I have taught you on a test dummy.'
      Alberich points at A test dummy accusingly.
      Alberich says 'Go ahead, kill it.'
   6. Kill the dummy.
      Alberich says 'Well Monkzy you have learnt well.'
      Alberich says 'I suggest you go see Dean Elcarth about furthering'
      Alberich says 'your training.'
   7. Return to the Dean (2e s e)
      Dean Elcarth says 'For your herald internship Monkzy, you are'
      Dean Elcarth says 'to go help the people of the town of Trevale.'
   8. Now you must go see the Mayor in Trevale. (e 2d 6e 2n u)
      The Mayor says 'Welcome Monkzy to the town of Trevale. We are always glad'
      The Mayor says 'to have a visit from a herald. It certainly improves'
      The Mayor says 'everyones spirits.'
      You check the town ledgers and settle all disputes.
      The mayor makes sure that you are supplied for your return trip.
      The Mayor gives you a brass chit.
      The Mayor says 'Thank you Alcholic for coming to our town and helping us.'
      The Mayor says 'Give this token to the Queen. It is proof that you have been'
      The Mayor says 'here, and next years taxes will be halved for us.'
   9. Return to the Queen (d 2s 6w 3u)
  10. Give chit queen
      You give a brass chit to The Queen.
      The Queen says 'Well done Alcholic. You have earned your herald whites!'
      The Queen gives you a full set of heraldic whites.
